by Unknown - 0

Osogbo — The wife of Osun State governor, Mrs Sherifat Aregbesola, has predicted a brighter future for the state in spite of the current economic challenges.
She also called on parents and guardians not to subject their children or wards to any form of child abuse such as street trading, hawking, or begging.
She further urged that children’s education be prioritised with a view to complementing the state government’s efforts at raising responsible future leaders.
Speaking in Osogbo yesterday during an end of the year party organized for children at the government house, Mrs Aregbesola noted that hard times are not forever.
Her words: “As parents, we should make the education of our children a priority and avoid a situation where a child would be left out of school to engage in either street trading or begging when they should be in school.
